I hold a Srilankan passport. I lived in UK on Student visa first then moved to PSW. Worked for a company and got sponsored by them under Tier2 after psw. While I was on my 2nd year of Tier2; I married a Norwegian and moved to Norway on a family visa (Dependent) my company still kept me in the job (IT work) and I was able to work from Norway. Company notified home office via SMS that my address has change. Home office approved it given I get paid the amount per my Tier2 agreement and I was even able to visit my UK office every other month. This month my Tier2 expired and I had no way to extend it since I don't live in UK. I have resigned from my job and my company notified home office of this via SMS. Now I have setup my own company here in Norway and will be providing work for the company in UK and will get paid via invoices. I have registered for tax here as well so will be paying tax on this. My company want me to find a way so I can visit UK office whenever needed (Meetings, project briefings etc) I'm holding a 3 year valid Norwegian visa and will gain Norwegian citizenship in 3 years. I know I can freely visit UK afterwards but what are my solutions to visit UK in these 3 years?
My questions;
1. Am I able to visit UK with just my Norway residency card? (I read somewhere I can travel with my wife who has Norwegian citizenship, is that true?)
2. Am I eligible to get a long term business visa? ( I have read the eligibility and it says I have to be from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland. But norway is a EEA country) this is confusing me.
