How many hours are required per week for each job?

I am hiring a person on an hourly basis. However, instead of hiring 30 hours per week I will hire 15 hours per week. Is it fine with HO rules? I read guidelines but couldn't get exact answer.

Will HO count hours at the end or is it necessary to employ 30 hours per week? Do I need anything apart from payslips and passport?

P.s. I will register employee details with HMRC.

Please answer quick as I am close to hire that person.

Yes, you can. Guidance clearly has depicted that part time worker's hours can be added at the end [read attached guidance page 18/19], that means you can employ him/her for 24 mnths to qualify 1 staff.
However, if you had applied and received visa after 6 April, 2014, the new changes has asked for 2 job creation for 2 separate people, meaning, you can not employ only one person [FT] continuously for 24 mnths to qualify.
