Cancellation of Valid ICT Tier 2 Short Term Visa

Hi,

I am currently having a valid ICT Tier 2 Short Term Visa (Valid from October 2014 to October 2015)
But due to some circumstances I am not able to travel now ,and will only be able to travel in April 2015.

So will it be possible to cancel the visa now and apply again in April.

Or is there any way that I can get my current visa to be suitable to my Change in plans.?

Please HELP
