New Indian Passport

Hi All,

I need to change my Indian passport due o a significant change in appearance. I wonder if anyone could answer my queries.

1.) Do I need to notify the home office of the new passport number?
2.) It is asking me to get a sworn affidavit of support from 2 Indian citizens but I don't know anyone who can. Who can I ask for this?

Dont need to do anything, you can staple both passports (old and new together) and travel with it.
