Filling out EEA3 form

Post by information3 » Thu Oct 16, 2014 5:42 pm

Hello Everyone,

I would please need some advice and help in filling out the EEA3 form, especially Section 7.3 and 9.12.

I am from Hungary and have been living and working in the UK for just over 5 years now; I do have all the supporting documents and evidence that would go along with my application form, however I got stuck with these two parts when filling out the form.

Section 7.3. says "If your EEA national family member exercised Treaty rights in employment, self-employment or study, please give details below starting with the most recent if there is more than one employer and/or place of study....etc." it is not saying If you/your EEA national family member.... so do you think I should leave it blank?? Because it is not asking about me, but my family member, or should I still fill it out just in case they made a mistake(?)
Is there a place where I could seek official advise on this or a phone number/helpline?

I am also not quite sure what exactly I need to write under Section 9.12. either
"Please state what ties you have with the country you were born (HUNGARY)
Any other country whose nationality you hold (NONE)
Any country where you have lived for more than 5 years (UK)
You should tell us about any family, friends, or other connections with that country"

Do they expect me to write down names of my family or friends, or just state that yes I do have social, cultural and family ties in that country, or what exactly I am supposed to write there...?

I am really confused....

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE for anybody's kind help!!!!
