Please Answer: Change of Employment & Sponsor

Dear Immigration Board Experts

I'm in Tier 2 General from June 2013. That is last 1 Year 4 Months with the designation Business Development Manager. I thought of changing my career and now I got job in IT sector. My query is

1. Can I change my employment and sponsor? Do UKBA accept that?? Is there any possible for rejection?
2. If I'm changing my employment do I need to show the experience IT Salary?
3. Is this will count in Tier 2 continues period? will this affect when applying extension or ILR??
4. What are the forms I need to fill for change of employment and sponsor?
5. What are the documents need to submit during applying?

I appreciate if any experts can answer my question.

Yes you can change employer as long as they hold a Sponsor licence. Like any application there is always the risk of a refusal
2. If I'm changing my employment do I need to show the experience IT Salary?
Any visa that takes you beyond three years and one month will have to be paid at the experienced rate.
3. Is this will count in Tier 2continues period? will this affect when applying extension or ILR??
It will be part of your continuous tier 2 leave period
4. What are the forms Ineed to fill for change of employment and sponsor?
The exact same process as you did for your current tier 2
5. What are the documents need to submit during applying?
As above

The RLMT will have to be completed prior to the issue of a COS by your new Sponsor.

Many many thanks for your reply.

I have one final doubt. My present designation is Business Development Manager, so if i change to software engineer the experienced salary would be 26,600(this for software engineer) and for Business Development Manager the experienced salary would be 30,600.

Can you please advice me which experienced salary should be mention in COS when I lodge my application as software engineer?

It is the SOC you are moving to that sets the rate for the job.
