How long you can stay
You can extend or switch to a Tier 1 (General) visa for 3 years. However in all cases you’ll be given enough leave to take the total leave granted in Tier 1 (General) to 5 years. You may be able to apply for settlement once you’ve been in the UK for 5 years.

I got my Tier 1 VISA in

• APRIL 2010 - APRIL 2013 => [ Initial Grant 3 Years]. { I entered UK by JAN 2011 only (9 months after the start date of visa) }
  MARCH 2013 - MARCH 2015 => [ 1st EXTENSTION Grant 2 Years].

If I make a 2nd EXTENSTION application in DEC 2014.
Will they give 3 years grant again or just 1 year ?
