flr (m)

Post by Aysha » Mon Nov 17, 2014 6:34 pm

Hi all,

My partner applied for flr (m) from Pakistan Lahore on 11 August 2014, he then submitted his biometrics on 28 August 2014. We were told that we will receive a response within 2 to 12 weeks of submitting the application. It has now been 11 weeks and we are still waiting. I would like to know on average is this how long it takes for them to give a response because a relative of mine applied when we did and his partner has already arrived in the UK. I will be very greatful if anyone can give some information about this or any further step I can take because I have been away from my partner for 9 months now.

Thank You

Are you sure he applied on form FLR(M)? This can't be submitted from outside of the UK. Was he applying for a spouse settlement visa?
An FLR(M) application is used to apply for an extension on an existing spouse visa from within the UK.
