Student Dpendent Visa and want to apply for Work Permit

Hi

My name is Roohi Shahid, and currently residing in uk as Student Dependent of my husband. i am currently working in PwC as a temp and have applied for a permanent position, will i have problems in getting a permanent position as due to my visa status , if im contracted for more than 12 months in this company , will i be able to apply for work permit once my student dependent visa ends?

You can work for any company so long as your LTR is still valid and is renewed anytime your husband renews his visa.

Of course if the job you apply for attracts a work permit and it is granted by WPUK then you would have to leave the UK and apply for entry clearance from whatever country you came from. Dependent visa holders cannot switch in-country and your WP if applied for an issued would be out-of country.
