No!

Sorry mate but are an overstayer, which is bad, and also an illegal worker, which is worse.

Best to leave the country via a crappy airport and hope you don't get spotted and get an adverse mark in you passport. That way you will be able to return provided you fit the criteria for lawful immigration.

To add to what wanderer has mentioned. If you didn't have a valid visa and entry clearance, then you are an overstayer and therefore cannot apply for anything from within the UK.

Are you this person?: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... ht=#103631

It's the same problem....or thereabouts anyway.

Short answer: NO, you don't qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) - you might qualify for a work permit, but your company applies for that after advertising for the job, and you definately need to leave the UK and apply for a visa back home.

Just because you paid taxes and NI contribution does NOT mean you have a right to remain in the UK - if you don't have a visa, you cannot apply to stay.
