Hello All,

One of my friend need some advice regarding his matter please help me out.

He is Pakistani National and he is on student visa and going back in December to get married so all he need to know,

what Documentation and visa does he required ?

what form he is required to fill in?

and yes if possible for telling me that how long British High commission in Islamabad taking time to process these kind of application.

Hi, I guess you are asking how the student can bring his wife over to join him. I think the form you need is here:

For documentation, you would obviously need proof of your marriage, and also evidence that you can support and accommodate your wife without need of public funds. It's worth remembering that your wife would be able to work full-time in the UK if your student visa is for more than six months, but you can't rely on her theoretical earnings in your application. Maybe if there was a definite job offer for her, that might help.

Be absolutely sure that you have not exceeded your permitted working hours yourself. If the evidence in your application suggests that you have, they may check with your NI record, and your own visa could be cancelled!

I've no idea how long such an application might take to be processed.
