PBS Dependent ICT maintenance funds issue

Post by dpsdce » Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:36 am

Hi guys,

I am in a altogether different scenario not sure if people face this, i recently relocated to UK just 2 weeks back and now getting married next week in India. I need to apply for a TIER 2 ICT dependent visa, but the visa guidance says either i have at least £630 continuously over the last 90 days or my employer which is a A rated employer should give a letter assuring the first month accommodation.

my Employer is not willing to give assurance for the accommodation for first month, more over its just 2 weeks for me so not i can show anything as a maintenance proof, Now my question is my proposed partner has almost £5000 in her account for past 6 months. can she use that amount to show as a maintenance proof ? or is it mandatory that the amount should be from the main applicant.

if someone has experience with the priority service for dependent visa, how long does this usually take in Delhi ?

Immigration Rules appendix E: maintenance funds PBS dependants wrote:(c) Where the applicant is applying as the Partner of a Relevant Points Based System Migrant the relevant amount of funds must be available to either the applicant or the Relevant Points Based System Migrant.

Thank You vinny :D , this is indeed very helpful. just one quick question regarding the same visa though i think it isn't required but just want to double check my understanding.

is it mandatory to have a valid UK address/tenancy agreement for a dependent visa since i dont have any ? i think its not but would be great if you confirm it.
