Student Visa, Job offer. How to work it out

Hi Guys
I am an overseas student in Bristol. I have submitted my dissertation last week therefore, i received an email form the university saying that they will notify the UKBA about my situation and will curtain my visa to only 4 months stay. The thing, i have got a job offer but the manager told me to investigate the working visa issue and then they can hire me as a permanent employee. My inquiries are: What type of visa need to apply for? How hard it is to make the switch? how long does it take? what are the required documents (CoS)?

Please, advise.

tier 2 visa .......ur employer shld hv sponsor licence like uni to issue u CoS.
