Switching from ICT Tier 2 Short Term To other visa

Hi,

I had following queries reagarding Visas

1. I am currently on my ICT Tier 2 Short Term Visa. Is there any way of getting any other kind of Work visa(In case i get offer from some company) after completion of my stay other than serving cooling off period of 1 year.
2. If my partner gets a ICT Tier 2 visa can i be a dependent on her and come back during the cooling of period and start working.
