revised salary in CoS extension

Post by ajo.facts » Sun Dec 14, 2014 1:48 pm

Hi,

Your help will be much appreciated please.

I am going to apply for the extension of my Tier 2 General Sponsored Visa this month, I am working for the same job, same employer, same role and my salary matched with the requirements too. My employer is willing to offer me another 3 years extension CoS just like the last time.

I know that my sponsor do not need to conduct a resident labour market test as per the rule - If the migrant is already working for you and they need to extend their leave to continue working for you in the same occupation, you do not need to conduct a resident
labour market test.

The question is, my salary as per the current CoS is £32,000 as Senior Programmer. Is it possible to increase the salary to £36,000 in new CoS? for this change shall we need to do the labour market test again?

The salary can undergo change in the extension. It's expected that your salary will increase as time passes. Nothing wrong in that!
