Changing employment with a restricted COS

Need some help!
I arrived two months ago on a restricted COS that was granted for two years.
i am looking to be employed by a new sponsor in the same job (same SOC code). Is this even possible? is there a minimum amount of time i have to work for my original sponsor before i can change employment?
and what kind of sponsorship visa would the new sponsor need to apply for? restricted? unrestricted?
what is the process to change the COS? does the new sponsor apply, get it all approved, and then i resign? really unsure how to do this! will i need to leave the UK to process it?

Yes you shall be able to get the change of employment and a unrestricted CoS will be required as you are already in the country and just changing employers.

employer does RLMT
Assign unresticted cos
you apply visa
you get new visa
resign from current job
join new employer.

make sure u follow above steps in the order only.
