T2 ICT to T2G dependant switch possible?

Hi

I have a colleague who arrived in the UK in Aug 2013 with T2 ICT, along with his wife and children on T2 ICT dependant visa.

I understand his T2 ICT cannot be extended beyond 5 years, and to switch to T2G, he must leave the UK and apply after 1 year cooling period.

However is the below scenario possible?

Can his wife get her own T2G visa (I presume she will have to leave the UK and apply from her own country) while my colleague continues working in the UK and when she come back to the UK, my colleague becomes her dependant of T2G visa to continue working for the same company which he is working for right now?

1. Can she apply for T2G without leaving the UK?
2. If not, does the 1 year cooling off period also apply for switching from PBS dependant to T2 General?
3. Can he (the current T2ICT holder) switch to PBS dependant within the UK?

1. Can she apply for T2G without leaving the UK?
No. She has to apply from home country.

2. If not, does the 1 year cooling off period also apply for switching from PBS dependant to T2 General?
No cooling off apply in her case.

3. Can he (the current T2ICT holder) switch to PBS dependant within the UK?
Yes, he can.
