switching from 10 years route to 5 years route

Hi every1,have been granted a 30 months visa under article 8 human right ground, My partner is british and child is british.This means I now look at the 10 years route to settlement and have already been in uk for 4 years now,add to the 10 years is 14 years .
My question is how can I switch to FLM(M) which will be then a 5 yrs route, from inside the uk? please I need your advise on this or is there any other way out apart from switching?
