HSMP REFUSAL - PLEASE ADVICE

Post by milan.1680 » Wed Aug 15, 2007 5:55 pm

HI,

Home Office has just refuse my HSMP. I have claimed 80 points. THey gave me points for my age (under 27), earning (25) but refused it on the ground that I have not supplied original degree ceritificate of my masters and they have refused my expectional condition. Expectional condition is that currently I have one ongoing application with HOme Office and did supply them all the documentation at that time. Wrote them many letters but as usual they dont reply.

I have clearly mentioned in the covering letter that original dregree certificate is with HOme Office. Documents that I did put in the HSMP applicaiton for clamining 35 points for masters are - photocopy of degree certificate, letter from University, transcripts, mark sheets, UKNARIC certificate.

THey were not happy with this,

Please advice what to do

Thanks for your help

Thanks

The guidance note states that HO will consider only original docs or Notarised copies of certificates/docs. Are these docs notarised? If so, you an reuest for review but if not, you may have to wait for you original before applying again.Remember HO has different sections just like every other organisation. HSMP Team may be in Sheffield and the other HO in Croydon,Doncaster e.t.c. Verifying this maybe extremely difficult cos of the workload they have on hand.Always put this into consideration before applying. My advise is that if copies of docs submitted are not notarised, you may have to wait for the originals and reapply. Since, you already have a pending application with HO, you should have waited for their decision before applying again for HSMP.They will think you want to use a stone to kill 2 birds at the time, more especially when the docs you submitted for HSMP are not original or notarised copies.I know what it feels like cos I was once in your shoes.Just be patient and let them send you your original docs and then you can reapply and also stating that you have applied earlier and refused based on the reason.Include a simple and well detailed cover note. I hope this helps. Success on the next move.
