Absences allowed to Apply ILR,for Tier 1 dependants

Hi ALL,

I would like to request for providing information related to allowance of absences permitted to count 5 year period.

My wife got her Tier 1 dependant on Oct'13 and Expires on Oct' 16.

Plan to be in india from 1st Jan, 2015 on wards till 5thSept 2015 (more than 8 months or 250 days)

1) Please provide how does the 5 year is calculated for getting eligible for ILR.

2) what visa she need to apply after Oct'16, My ILR is due on July'2015.
