Spouse visa for ILR New Contractor

Post by rdudala » Tue Feb 17, 2015 5:59 pm

Hi all,
its the time and i have decided to get married soon. I know its a big step.
as before i do anything, am planning to make sure i don't end up in any surprises, little bit about me, i was in permanent job for four years since march 2010 to June 2014. From July 2014, i have decided to go into the world of contracting.

So far so good, i even got my ILR in December 2014. Now if i get married, my accountant says i cannot bring my dependant till may 2015 until i submit my taxes and thats when i can show what my income really is.

While it makes sense, i was wondering in the interim is it possible to bring my mrs on visit visa or any other visa after marriage ?

am sure one of you were in a similar situation and would be great to get your views.
cheers
R
