I am an Australian citizen just starting the process of applying for Italian Citizenship. I'm Living in London on a Tier 5 youth mobility visa - am I able to apply through the Italian Consulate here? Can't seem to make any sense of their website and am having an awful time trying to source documents as well!
Can anyone give me any advice on whether I can apply in London (or have to go back to Aus. to apply) and also how to go about obtaining documents from Italy (birth certificates and marriage certificate). Would be really great to speak to someone who has been through this nightmare already!!
