Dependent Visa for wife and children

Hi Experts,

I got my ILR in may 2014 and now i want to bring my wife and 2 children from India to UK

i have been married for 6 years due to some circumstances i did not bring them here

my question is
1, What all documents do i require to bring them here
2, Do i need to show any financial documents
3,Do my wife need to take any tests in India
4, which is easier to get them here while i am still holding Indian passport or do i need to wait until i get my British passport

Your answers will help me bringing my family
