Stayed in UK with breaks

Post by neels » Thu Feb 19, 2015 10:32 pm

Hi

I stayed in UK from Jan'04 to June'06.I was then transferred by company to other countries and have now been back in UK from Feb'2013. Is there a chance of adding the two times together to get the 5 years for ILR?

Also my current visa is TIer 2 ICT Long term Staff immigrant and I earn more than £155M annually. I am going to have an extension of my visa coming up as the company wants me to take another role in UK for another 2.5 years (ie I will ne dup having around 4.5 years by the time I leave). Is this the best visa or can/should i ask for Tier 2 General (assuming its possible)

Thanks in advance

You can not aggregate the years spent in the UK with such a long break in between.
As for tier 2 if you earn £155k a year then the sensible thing would be to go for a tier 2 general visa as your company can issue that without a RLMT.
