I.L.R advice on benefits

Hi All :)
Can someone please tell me after you have received your I.L.R which mine was on set M, how long can do you have to wait before you can claim any public funds as i will be wanting to claim carers allowance? thanks

As soon as you have been granted ILR, which is when you are no longer under Immigration control.
(Casa, not CR001)
