General visitor visa - address format

Hi guys,
Thanks for your time looking into my request .

I and my infant baby(currently in India) want to come on UK tourist( general visitor ) visa for 4 months. I have funds (15000 gbp) in my bank account and I can support my self and my daughter. Can I get tourist (general visitor) visa for 4 months. I have booked return ticket as well .

My question is that one of my friends is already in UK, he is settled in UK and British citizen now. He will provide me accomodation in his house . What is he format of a accomodation letter please. Any sample of accommodation letter will be very much appreciated
