Credit rating against Immigration application

Hi all,

I owed my college and amount of less than £800 and I received a document from the County Court Business Centre claim form called Money Claim Online. I was given 3 options: to admit all claim and make give an instalment payment, or admit part claim or counter the claim.

1) I supposed to renew my visa and I am not sure if I accepted the claim and arrange for payment plan, my name will still go to the credit agencies or will it not go?

2) If the college refuses my payment plan and want to go ahead with jourgement will my name be posted in the credit ref agency.

My understanding is that if you pay in full within 28 days of a ccj then no record will be made. If you don't pay in full within 28 days then yes it's recorded on your file for 6 years.

Safest way is pay up before the court date.
