do you have any idea how much is the maximum cash in pounds we could bring to the UK.? Is it ok to bring 7,000gbp cash?

I think U need to care more on your departure airport. As U might have the problem from your departure place. From UK part, I believe there are not any restrcition as it is good for them if bring money as much as possible. But I am not too sure about this other people might add comments.

thats the huge amount.....better not carry that much amount ,remaining money carry through a travel card or any account.

So you can bring a £million in cash and they will be happy? Absolutely wrong there is a limit for sure you cant bring substantial amount without declaring it because of money laundering regulations etc.

I am aware about the money laundry. But I believe the amount this person mention of £7000 is far beyond money laundry allegation.

Also as I mention before the cash limit that can be taken abroad is highly likely more restricted/regulated in the country of origin . So, the money laundry have been filtered inthe country of origin.

The sum of cash that U are allowed to take abroad from the country of origin will defenitely meet the sum that U allow to bring into the country of destination.
