Want to Apply for spouse visa using category B

Post by marwat » Fri Apr 17, 2015 8:09 pm

Hi
Firstly I am a British Citizen who studied medicine in Pakistan. I got married to my Pakistani wife one year ago. She is also a Doctor. I applied for two family visitor visas to the UK in Jan 2015 and Feb 2015. Both of them were rejected on the basis that her ties to Pakistan were not strong enough.

I am a Doctor who is registered recently to work in the UK. I have got a job offer in Northern Ireland (contractor/locum) job. They will pay me 40 pounds an hour if i want PAYE or 43 pounds an hour if its under an umbrella company. I dont mind which one it is as long as it is the easiest way to get spouse visa.

So my work is roughly 160 hours per month and it is possible that in 3 months (AUGUST 2015) i can earn around 19000 pounds. So after 3 months I qualify for the point mentioned in cat B that in the previous 12 months you should have earnt at least 18600.

Also does this come under non salaried employment and so i also qualify under that as I will earn more than 9300 in the previous 6 months before applying?

Yes you do and it will be non salaried if you're getting paid hourly.
