Switch from Tier 1 General to Entrepreneur

Thanks very much in advance for guidance.

- currently in UK under Tier 1 General, expiring Nov. 15
- Formed a Ltd. last year (Feb. 14) as a director/shareholder with my wife
- carry out, via Ltd., IT contract consulting with banks

- would like to switch to Entrepreneur visa

- is contracting/consulting allowed ?

- have some funds in SIPP. Can these count toward the 200k?

I have heard that some companies are not willing to take on contractors who are in the UK under a Tier 1 Ent.

Has anyone else had this experience?
