Salary GBP 155k cooling off period for switch to T2G

I'm currently on ICT Tier 2 long term in UK but have been offered a promotion with salary of GBP 156000 with change in nature of work. What is the cooling off period to apply for Tier 2 General visa when salary is greater than GBP 155,400.
1. What is the cooling off period for appln of T2G on return to India
2. Can appln be made in UK?
