Switch T2 ICT to ICT Dependent

Hi All,

Just wanted your opinion on this one.

I was on T2 ICT Short Term which expired in Nov 2014 and I returned to India.
My employer now wants to send me on ICT Long Term (3 Years) in Aug 2015 since he cannot sponsor me on any other visa due to cooling off period in effect (Need help here to know if it is completely true, barring Tier 1 visas of course ??).

Coincidentally, my wife is also getting sponsored through her employer (different to mine) on T2 ICT Long Term for 2 years. Since we are planning for a baby in the next year or so, I need to get the logistics sorted out. Would she be able to:

1. Switch from her ICT Long term, say one year down the line, to be my ICT Dependent?
2. Can she do it whilst in UK?
3. Can she get employed without sponsorship as my dependent later on, say after 2 years?

Also, would be really good to know if anyone has tried this?
