How long before expiry of T2G via can I renew

Hi,

My visa expires first week of Dec, need an extension for T2G... Last time it took ages to get the CoS sorted and I wanted to apply as early as possible this time.

Wondering how early I can apply? Don't want to take any chances of delays...

your employer can apply for a new cos whenever they want. They can, however, only put a start date of less than 3 months in future. and once the cos is assigned, u can apply whenever u want, within the next 3 months of date of assigning of cos.
u dont have to wait to till december to apply.. u can apply today if u want.
applying to early will however mean that the end date will be closer as well, as oppose to if u apply later.

Thanks - I will be up for ILR soon, so the closer end date is not bothersome. I'd much rather get this sorted sooner rather than later...
