Me, my wife and my son have indefinite leave to remain (permamant residence).

I am interested in applying for british passport for my son.

Do one of me or my wife need to have british passport before applying for my sons passport?

Can I put my application for british citizenship and his application to register on a MN1 in the same application?

you can apply to register the child as british at the same time as submitting your own application

but he is unlikely to be registered at discretion if neither of the parents is naturalising

So I can apply for naturalisation for myself on AN form and at the same time apply to register my son on MN1 form?

Do I need to have british passport for registering my son for B.C. or do i just need to naturalise?
