number to call for reference number

Post by pktamil2007 » Mon Sep 10, 2007 1:13 pm

Hi,

I sent my documents on 3rd september and on 6th september my credit card has been charged.
Whats the time taken for HO to send us the reference number?

I tried calling on this number 00441142076020 now to ask them. But the ring goes on and on and line gets disconnected. Anyone who has got reference number in the past week, please let me know.

Hi Ikon,

Thanks for the reply. I called them up and got the reference number. The lady said they havent allocated to a caseworker yet and also mentioned that processing would take anywhere from 5-12 weeks. This sounds alarming..

Anyone else has got such replies? Anyways Lets wait and hope for the best.

@pktamil2007,

Good to see that you got the ref number. this should have given some fresh air in to your mouth . Nothing to panic, whatever timlines they said is for all. But it varies to case & dont worry much about it. Once they take a decision you should get an email as wel.

Keep cool & keep browsing this site a lot to relax 8)

Cheers
