UK residense requirements - UK Nat AN

Hi,

I am a french woman applying for the dual nationality and I am have been in the UK for 7 years (studying and working). I am about to fill the FORM AN but I am a bit confused..

I have fully fill Section 2 Residence requirement section 2.2 (detail of all my abscences) but do i need to fill section 2.4 for EEA national excercising EC treaty rights?

I am really confused

Yes because you will need to show how you acquired Permanent Residence (PR) (unless you already hold a Document Certifying Permanent Residence)
To acquire PR, you need to be exercising treaty rights for a continuous period of 5 years.
During periods in which you were in the UK as a student, you will need to have hold private health insurance or a non-UK EHIC for this time to count.

Thanks Lily, it makes more sense! One little thing though...

I have been working in the Uk for 7 years so i'll just use that, however to prove it i need to show "Evidence of five years continuous residence in the UK".

To proove this can i use the same proof as Section 2.2 eg. P60s and letter of my employer stating that I have been working for them for this period of time?

Oh good, if you have also been working just apply as a worker it's easier
Yes, you can use P60s/employer letters or utility bills to prove your residency.
