Wife Illegal Entrant, me and baby British. FLR(O) or (FP)?

Hi,

I am new here so sorry if this is repetitive. My wife is an illegal entrant and has no status. I am British and our baby is British.

We want to do a family life application, as parent preferably. Also to help the case her home country is not safe (Libya).

Do we do the FLR (O) form or FLR (FP) as parent 10 year route? I am very confused as some solicitors said FLR (FP), some said she needs to do English test and things, other ones said she doesnt. But on Home Office website it says FLR(FP) guidelines dont do this form if applicant wants discretionary leave.

Very confused please if somebody can clear up how to approach this, what to do, what form, what documents and things I need to do.
