FLR(FP) Parent for illegal entry wife with British child

Post by mr.r » Wed Jul 08, 2015 7:52 am

Hi

My wife entered the UK illegally, me and our child are British. We want to do the FLR FP (Parent) for her. Also her home country is dangerous (Libya).

However the child has dual nationality - British but is on her foreign passport also. Will this cause problems when doing the FLR FP? Can they deport them both?

They can't deport a British child.

Thanks for the reply. I was worried that when I hand in my wifes passport for the application, the baby is also on the mothers passport and they would try make them both leave regardless of the baby having a British passport also.

Since im new here, are there any previous posts that advise on which form is best to use as a solicitor said to me FLR O or FLR FP.. and what documents I need? eg English test requirements, pictures to support proof of marriage, bills, my finance and work details, cover letter and other documents not mentioned that I can add.

This would be much appreciated.
