mn1 application for child

dear friends

i would like to get some opinions on this following matter, i obtained my ilr after my baby was born, he is now 5 months old,and my partner does not currently have ILR. i would like to make an application to register my baby as a british citizen using form MN1.

is it possible to register him as he is only 5 months old and only me have ilr?
and thirdly i have been getting difficulties to get a referee who has engaged with him in a professional capacity as the health visitors are saying it is against their work policies to act as referee now. is sending two referees with british citizens and professional person accepted by HO.

If your child was born in the UK than you can register him now. I would't worry to much about referees.
