Hello,
I was issued with a tier 4 visa which was then transferred into a residence permit card (I lost my passport when I was in the UK). It was valid for four years 2013-2017). When I went to the university I switched courses and my course became only 3 years not four years, however my visa expiry was kept the same. After finishing first year of university I went back home and withdrew from my course (I didn't pass). I informed the university while I was outside the UK that I would like to withdraw, they accordingly reported my case to the home office and two month after that I received an email from the home office on January 2015 containing my notice of curtailment. Stating that they have been informed by the home office that I have withdrawn from my course and therefore my visa has been curtailed. They gave me 60 days until it expires, which has now expired. Two month afterwards I received an email from Capita saying that they can't verify my departure from the UK. I had to send in a scan of my passport, and 20 days ago I contacted them and they said that it has been referred to the home office.
What is my visa situation now if I want to go back to the UK?
Thanks in advance.
