Wokring holiday Maker Visa - Intention to travel

Hi,
I am applying for the UK working holiday amaker visa.
i have secured emplyment as a nanny for 6 months. then i would like to travel.

Not only would I like to travel in the UK.. but also to other European counties as well.

Is this allowed? I do want to spend lots of time travelling in the Uk but i wouldn't mind visiting some other countries as well. (france, germany, italy, sitzerland..etc)
Someone told me that other countires require a visa just to travel there.. is this true..

Assuming that you mean that you are Canadian and hold Candian passport, you will be able to enter the other EU countries as Canadians are exempt from needing visa to the countries that you have mentioned.

The Working Holidaymaker visa has nothing to do with all this really.

A working holiday visa is not a slavery contract...you are free to come and go from the UK as you please.

Most European Union countries (possibly all) offer visa-free travel for tourist purposes to Canadian citizens. However it always pays to double-check with the embassy of the country you are travelling to for entry requirements.
