Hi
I have a some questions pertaining to my situation. Here is my situation.
- I'm from Australia
- I have been working in the Netherlands for 7 months. March - September.
- I previously worked in the UK for 12 months (but only 5 months in the past 15 months).
- I'm employed as a contractor (I think - need to clarify this definition). I am employed by a recruitement agency and work in a temp job in banking. I do notoperate through a limited type co.
QUESTIONS:
1. The tax year in Holland is Jan to Jan. I've not been here long enough to get a tax return. If I have invoices, payslips, bank statements and I get a letter from an accountant that says I've grossed x and netted x then this should exempt me from having to hand in tax docs? Correct?
2. Would I have to send anything in from the time I worked in the UK?
