IN PERSON ILR APPLICATION

Post by Ganeshan » Thu Aug 20, 2015 5:44 pm

Dear Gurus;

Are the dependents allowed to come with the ILR APPLICANT if they are not applying together please?

In nutshell;

Can my spouse + two kids come with me when I go with my own ILR application eventhough they are not applying with me but at a later date?

Thanks
G

Thanks

when the initial cheks are made at the enterance, the usual question asked is "are you all applying".

I need to say NO.

If they say, in that case, your dependents are not allowed to enter>

can they say so?

You know how the gate keepers behave?

Thanks

Security staff have the right to do so if they choose. Generally only those applying or the sponsor of the applicant (i.e spouse/partner) are permitted to enter + the applicant's children.

When I was applying for Tier 4 at Croydon three years ago I asked my girlfriend to wait at the nearby Starbucks. When the UKBA people found out that I had left her on her own they were super surprised and then said I should have just go and fetch her in if I wanted to.
