Spouse visa procedure

Hi,
I wonder if you can help. My son has just got married in Pakistan and we are now trying to get all the paperwork sorted. I would be grateful if someone could tell me what the procure is for getting a spouse visa. Is the application made online or is it submitted through islamabad entry clearance. Please please help if you can
