Solicitor cost and which PSC

Hi everyone, I am new to this board!

I am looking to apply for ILR this September, I have a police caution therefore I have request subject access and 20 days so far still waiting for reply. And because of this, I guess I would like to have a solicitor to take me through the application process, provide me with a suitable covering letter to explain the circumstances and all. I am wondering how much a solicitor would normally charge for this kind of application? I have spoken to a few, the price ranges from £200 to £800...

Also, I am planning to apply in person, wondering if anyone have used the premium service could please share your experience with me? Is there a "good" visa center among the 7 centers?
