Maintenance Fund for Self Employed (Limited Company) FLR M

Post by roadhouseblues » Thu Sep 17, 2015 7:43 am

Hi!

I got my ILR on Long Residency basis on Mar 15 and about to apply FLR M for my wife(who is now on T1 Dependant) next month. I have been doing my own business (limited company) since last year but only gone to PAYE after getting my ILR and now I have 6 months payslip (from my business) which does fulfil a financial requirement of £18600 as my wife only works part time, her only income is not adequate. I have not done tax return yet for my running business as it's due for next year February. My question here is, can I use my last 6 months payslip (including bank statement showing pay in) to fulfil maintenance requirement as I did not get quiet clear explanation regarding it in HO guidance note and in this forum too. I will be using CATEGORY F to claim for fund (if I'm not wrong) which has question "How much income did you or your sponsor earn from self employment in the last financial year?" So, Shall I put my recent gross payslip income or does this question ask for business income i.e profit and loss (tax return) which is not done yet for my business.

If any one has come through it or have any knowledge regarding it then please drop your few words on this scenario. Any help would be really appreciated.

Sorry if this topic has been already asked in this forum?

Thank you in advance!
