Tier 2 Extention application for web designer

Post by Divu » Tue Sep 22, 2015 1:08 pm

Hi friends,

I am currently on Tier 2 General visa which is due to expire on August 2016. I am currently working as a web designer (SOC- 2137, not an shortage occupation), and my current salary is £20,300 per annum. I want to extend this visa next year, and I will be very grateful if one of you could help me out with few questions. Thanks in advance.

- During my next year application should my salary be increased to the ‘Experienced’ category as in the PBS guidance document (Experienced: £23,400)?

- I assume RMLT is not required because it will be an extension application?

- Should I be aware of any other crucial issues before the application?

Thank You!

yes

increase in the min salary likely by the time you apply for the extension

correct but a new CoS will be needed

- Should I be aware of any other crucial issues before the application?
yes, changes in the immigration rules

Thank You!
