Purchasing Property

Hi my wife is hoping to move to UK from China in March is the spousal visa goes through. With the hopes that we can purchase a small house with the help of her parents. Since her parents are paying they wanted the property in her name is this feasible on spouse visa and would there be any additional taxes or costs levered against her since she wasn't born in the UK

Not an immigration issue. She will massively struggle if she needs a mortgage; no UK credit and non permanent status.
