Visitor visa flagged (Please Help)

Post by Eggs.4 » Sat Oct 17, 2015 12:31 pm

Hi everyone,

Bit of background to my dilemma, my now partner visited the UK last August to see family and catch up with me (we had been travel buddies previously). Unfortunately he didn't have a return ticket or firm plans, they still let him in but they stamped his passport. As he's Australian I think this means he had a coded landing and is now on a flag list?

Anyway he's now visiting me for Christmas hopefully, flights are booked for him to land late November and leave early January. We have return flights, bank statments (3k UK£), an invitation letter from me complete with my rental agreement and letter from the landlady as well as a letter from the new job he's starting as soon as he gets back to Aus.

Is there anything else we need? I really don't want to risk him being sent home. Anyone who's had similar experiences with Border Control I'd really love to hear your stories too.

If you don't want to risk problems on entry it would be wise to apply for a visitor visa before he travels.
