LEAVE Letter

Post by devmanda1ia » Fri Oct 12, 2007 9:27 am

Hi,

I am putting up my wife's visa file. I am on work permit in the UK and want to know if I need a letter authorising leaves for going home for marriage.

I got a letter from my company for my continued employment. But not sure if I have to have a leave authorisation letter?

Thanks,

Dev

You dont need any authorisation letter from your employer for leave.

Thanks Magsi. Why do everyone submit their leave authorisation letter to indicate they have taken holidays to get married?

You need a letter from your employer to confirm your employment with them if you are applying for your wife's dependent visa, however i have never heard someone getting an authorisation letter from an employer to get married? You can take your holidays and do whatever you want its not really employers concern.

You might be mixing it with COA (certificate of aproval) from Home office?
